Direct to food printing
Direct to Food printing is new to Sister Act Cake Boutique. About a year ago (2021) we started with our first DtoF printer. We spent a great deal of time working to overcome some challenges that resulted in having to have a new printer built. Bentley, as we call her, will print directly onto cookies, fondant and even cake!!! The Disney princesses on the photo below was printed directly onto fondant and printed beautifully the color and clarity of the chosen image... Striving for the best possible flavor with cookies, and preferring to use colored chocolate over royal icing, we've had to add an extra step to be able to combine a water based edible ink with the high fat content of chocolate and successfully print!!! Personalizing your printed cookie can include a company logo, pictures and most images found online… It truly takes personalizing an edible gift to a new level!!!
